A Costa Rican artistic showcase! Drum Fest 2012 will repeat the event of placing young Costa Rican talents next to important elements of the international and local music, as part of the Assembles of Percussion Coast Rica-UNED. To be held at the National Center of the Culture (CENAC) on February 25 and 26, the Drum Fest 2012 will demonstrate the versatility of the national musicians and as stated by counselor Carlos Sanders, it will be a " space full of drums, saucers, with very contemporary music, of the first world ".
Notably two international artists will take part in this event: Ruy Lopez (Cuba) and Camilo Torres (Chile). They will offer their music as part of the showcase of national music - Swing in 4, Transfusion, Yellow Cyan and Magenta, Ale Fdz and the resident group of the UNED, Assemble of Percussion.
