World Nude Gardening Day

Hotel Desire Costa Rica is looking for nude gardeners to apply their talents to the resort’s six acres of grounds, leading up to World Nude Gardening Day on May 14, 2011.

Why garden in the nude? Simple, because it's fun and sexy! Apparently gardening is next to swimming as being the top activities people are ready to consider doing in the nude. And it’s pretty much an activity everyone can do it, as well as passive exercise where what’s involved is to get naked and make the world's gardens healthier and more attractive.

Gardening as a labor of love is most appreciated in a tropical clime where unique specifies of flora grow, and grow quickly. Costa Rica is a fertile country for growing plants, especially the numerous varieties of orchids and is the source of much of the world’s orchid supply.  Costa Rica has over 1300 orchid species, as well as 9000 identified vascular plants species, and over 900 different tree species. Uniquely up in the cloud forests there are plants that are specially adapted to absorb moisture directly from the mist.

Hotel Desire Costa Rica is an adults only clothing optional resort set in the foothills of the San Joe Valley almost equidistant between the Pacific and Caribbean coasts. The resort has a world class restaurant offering international as well as Costa Rican dishes, which is set next to the upper of the two clothing optional pools. Both the upper and lower pool at the Villa are encircled by white linen draped cabana beds that offer privacy if guests so desire. Pathways meander through the resorts grounds linking the pools with the tennis court, open air Jacuzzi area and the Games Villa where the fitness room, billiards and table tennis bar are located.

The resort’s central location makes it ideal for day trips to see Costa Rica’s riches in its volcanoes, white water rafting, canopy tours, zip lines, surfing and nud beaches. There are also coffee plantation, jungle and eco forest tours available.
