This weekend, March 10-12 at the Copacabana Desire Hotel in Jaco Beach Costa Rica is set for the Photoshoot for the Desire Girls Calendar. 14 Hot Models from across Costa Rica will be on site at the Copacabana Desire Hotel, Playa Jaco, nearby beaches and mountains for the best lifestyle photoshoot Jaco has yet to see. Then on Monday March 13, the photoshoot will move to the Desire Hotel's Mountain Estate location in San Jose to shoot within the City of Flowers.

Costa Rican Musicians to Honor Whitney Houston

After the sad death of the singer Whitney Houston, a group of recognized Costa Rican musicians have produced a musical honoring the singer. The group will do a tour spotlighting her more well known songs a well as those that received less radio play but that real fans know. The event is a double date - the first date will be Wednesday, the 14th of March in the Jazz Coffee Escazú and the second date will be the 28th of the same month but in the Jazz Coffee San Pedro, both events at 8:30pm. The cost of the entry is of ¢4000 per person and the duration of the concert is expected to be a little more than two hours for the wide list of Whitney's songs. Musicians who have the honor to give this amazing tribute are singer Charlene Stewart, Carlos Delgado and other members of the band SD.

We hope that these two events are filled to capacity and let's remember this great artist that leaves us a legacy of musical successes!

To be held at the National Center of the Culture (CENAC) on February 25 and 26, the Drum Fest 2012 will demonstrate the versatility of the national musicians and as stated by counselor Carlos Sanders, it will be a " space full of drums, saucers, with very contemporary music, of the first world ".
